Our Story

Blaine Youth Football  was established in 2014 resulting from the split of the Blaine Spring Lake Park Athletic Association.  Blaine Spring Lake Park Athletic Association provided youth football programs to the Blaine and Spring Lake Park school district communities for over 50 years and was successful in growing the program to over 900 participants.

Today, approximately 500 kids play youth football for the Blaine Youth Football program.  These players are residents in the Blaine High School district area.  Most will eventually attend and play for Blaine High School.

The Blaine Youth Football association is a member of the North Metro Youth Football League (NMYFL) and the North Suburban Football League.   These leagues include teams from across Minnesota area including Andover, Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Centennial, Champlin Park, Chisago Lakes, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, Elk River, Fridley, Lino Lakes, Mounds View, New Brighton, Rogers, Spring Lake Park, and St. Anthony.  Each grade in the league has about ten to twenty teams.
